Job Description
The Wheeling location of NSI is a manufacturer of a large and diverse line of cord connectors cable grips wire mesh grips and cable glands that has been in business for 60 years and we look forward to having you join our team!
Responsibilities
- Operate multispindle screw machines
- Read and understand all documentation including to ensure machining operation is performed according to Work Order Setup Sheets Part Drawings Machining Process Sheets and Special Instructions
- Inspect machined parts to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Complete applicable work order quality documentation and daily production reports as required
- Maintain work area in a clean and neat manner ensuring all tools fixtures materials and other supplies are cleaned and put away at the end of every shift.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Site Manager.
- Identify and use all required Quality inspection tools including gauges calipers and other fixtures
Quality Position Requirements:
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to operate complex machinery.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Must have the ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds with regularity
Salary Range: $18.50 $20.00/hr.
