Join us as a Payroll Operations Manager and help us build a better Lancashire!

By ensuring the smooth operation of payroll services youll help maintain a motivated and supported workforce enabling highquality public services and contributing to our efficient and customerfocused council.

As aPayroll Operations Manager youll be at the heart of a highperforming team driving service excellence and innovation for more than 35000 employees in public sector organisations across the North West.

What youll be doing:

  • Leading and developing two dedicated teams to deliver accurate and timely payroll processing and service support.
  • Managing payroll systems and ensuring compliance with legislation internal policies and business plans.
  • Driving service improvements and system developments particularly within Oracle HCM.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and resolving complex payroll issues.

  • An experienced payroll professional.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on service quality and continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to manage change implement system enhancements and ensure compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage customer interactions effectively including handling and resolving complaints to ensure positive outcomes.
