What will I be doing
As a Chef Concierge you would be responsible for greetingand welcoming guests providing prompt and genuine service. Understand and anticipate guest needs and provide them with personalized suggestions / solutions. Promote hotel services amenities and upsell products to the guests. Acquire extensive knowledge and provide accurate information about hotel premises and nearby venues and activities. Ensure consistent high quality and courteous guest service is provided to all guests.
Promptly answers the telephone and email inquiries. Receive input retrieve and relay pertinent messages and information to guests. Answer telephone calls and use computer to input and pass on messages. Retrieve mail small packages and other items as requested by the guest. Field guest complaints and concerns and offer resolutions based upon experience and research. Listen and extend assistance in order to resolve problems. Remain calm and alert especially during emergency situations and heavy hotel activity.
Receive special requests from guests and respond promptly and appropriately or forward requests to appropriate team members for actions and follow up. Understand and anticipate guest needs and provide them with personalized suggestions/solutions. Acquire extensive knowledge and provide accurate information about (but not limited to) the hotel premises activities and nearby venues and businesses. Respond to inquiries with accurate information regarding (but not limited to) hours of outlet operations directions to local attractions transportation services and business and dining activities in order to make the most suitable recommendations based on the guest needs. Distribute printed materials such as brochures of local attractions when appropriate.
Establish and maintain all guest experience relations and programs as per the standard of Waldorf Astoria Brand third party luxury programs (Forbes FHR etc.) and best practices. Provide supervision professional training and development and deliver recognition and reward as well as coaching to all involved team members. Ensure the entire team delivers outstanding guest service. Make recommendations for training related opportunities. Shift: Various must be available to weekdays weekends and holidays.
Pay Rate: The annual salary range for this role is $75000 to $80000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
