Job Description
The Volunteer Services Coordinator is responsible for the daily operations of the volunteer office and acts as a recognized contact for the organization regarding volunteer service needs. This position is responsible for the onboarding of all Augusta Health volunteers coordination of all hospital volunteer service needs and plays an active role in volunteer staff retention. Communicates and demonstrates excellent customer service skills maintaining open communication with all volunteers and departments to ensure services provided align with department needs and volunteer availability. Must have the ability to handle multiple priorities and assignments efficiently and effectively.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business Human Resources marketing or related field preferred.
- Two years secretarial and/or receptionists experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business Human Resources marketing or related field preferred.
- Preferred customer service and dealing with the public.
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to perform detailed assignments and work under changing situations
- Ability to problem solve and provide for smooth operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and professionalism
- Strong customer service skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products
- Maintain a high level of integrity and proven ability to maintain confidentiality related to sensitive information
- Foster good public relations for the department and the organization. Has the ability to work effectively with employees patients volunteers medical staff and visitors.
