Sales Operations Coordinator
Sheraton Universal a premier 466room Marriott FullService Hotel featuring 30000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space is seeking a detailoriented and highly organized Sales Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic Sales & Marketing team. This position will provide critical administrative and operational support to our Group Sales Managers ensuring efficient execution of sales processes timely communication with clients and seamless coordination across departments.
What will you do
- Provide daily administrative support to the group sales team including managing calendars processing contracts and preparing client proposals and presentations.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate group account records in Marriotts systems (e.g. CI/TY Salesforce OneSource).
- Assist in drafting and routing Group Sales Agreements BEOs addendums and internal communication forms.
- Coordinate and support pre and postconference meetings site visits and client entertainment arrangements.
- Track leads opportunities and definite bookings; generate regular sales reports and dashboards for leadership review.
- Respond to inquiries provide information to internal stakeholders and liaise with hotel departments to ensure group needs are understood and executed.
- Support RFP responses and assist in assembling marketing collateral sales kits and promotional materials.
- Maintain inventory of sales office supplies and collateral; manage shipping and receiving materials for trade shows and client events.
- Participate in Marriott brand initiatives and uphold all company and brand standards in customer service and communication.
About You:
- 2 years of hospitality experience required.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook); experience with Marriott systems preferred (CI/TY OneSource MGS Salesforce).
- Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- High level of attention to detail and a proactive servicefocused attitude.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods walk and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to use a computer telephone and other office equipment efficiently.
- Occasional reaching bending and light physical tasks as required.
