Job Summary:
The Perry Local Schools desires to employ an Ohiolicensed teacher to serve as a middle school English Language Arts teacher at Perry Middle School. Please note this is .66 positon.

Instruction & Curriculum: Design and implement lesson plans that align with Ohios Learning Standards and content text instruction. Utilizeteaching methods aligned to the Science of Reading with deep understanding for effectively teaching comprehension vocabulary and reading/writing intervention.
Assessment & Feedback: Frequent informalassessment of student progress through aligned blueprinted assessments and benchmark assessment data. Provide constructive feedback to support student growth and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a structured respectful and supportive classroom environment rooted in relationships and postitive connections with individual needs and background of each student. Implement effective management strategies to promote a conducive learning culture.
Collaboration & Communication: Work collaboratively with colleagues and PLC to develop interdisciplinary instructional strategies. Have a growth mindset for continual learning and professional growth.
Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and integrate new technologies into the classroom.

Qualifications:

Ohio Teaching License K8 18 49 Language Arts 712 Integrated Language Arts
