THE POSITION

BEI conducts investigations into allegations of violations of standards of conduct laws rules and regulations for twentynine licensing boards and commissions.Bring your investigative expertise and ambition to our team and take your career to the next level!
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Professional Conduct Investigator 1 you will plan coordinate and conduct investigations into allegations of violations of the standards of conduct laws rules and regulations of the professional and occupational licensing boards and commissions under the Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the supervisor and prosecuting attorneys to ensure all factual information is collected. Work includes traveling to various sites in a geographic region gathering facts and reviewing and evaluating information and documents.
Other duties to include but not limited to:- Handling legal documents
- Testifying at hearing or proceedings
- Conducting inperson interviews
- Writing thorough accurate and timely reports
- Utilizing various office equipment and software
This position is headquartered in King of Prussia (Montgomery County) however the majority of this position will be fieldwork in Philadelphia County.

- Fulltime employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday Friday with 60minute lunch.
- Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) parttime at the discretion of the program area and supervisors based on operational needs. In order to telework you must have a securely configured highspeed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in King of Prussia.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years as a Regulatory Enforcement Inspector (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Five years of investigative experience; or
- One year of investigative experience and a bachelors degree; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that included one year of investigative experience.
Other Requirements:
- This particular position also requires possession of a valid Class C Drivers License.
