One Summer Chicago Summer Youth Employment Program Coordinator (OSC SYEP) (Seasonal Parttime 25 hours) Exempt
BUILD Inc. (Broader Urban Involvement and Leadership Development) is presently seeking a committed selfmotivated and innovative individual to join our team. BUILD is a nationally respected gang intervention violence prevention and youth development organization based on Chicagos West Side. The Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) is a sixweek subsidized workbased program that provides internships or specialized training for young people ages 1624 in Chicago. SYEP exposes youth to various public and private sector industries employment placement building financial capabilities and training to help increase their selfefficacy and gain work experiences and skills needed to succeed in the current and future economy. The OSC SYEP Coordinator is expected to deliver and support highquality innovative and comprehensive services that empower youth employees to thrive and to collaborate with community partners and employers to ensure quality career exploration and development experiences for youth.
