Responsibilities:

  • Prepare materials for internal and external transfer and/or shipping
  • Ensure product is available to final inspectors at all times including the moving of empty skids
  • Review read and understand work orders and requisition forms to determine items to be moved gathered or distributed
  • Perform Quality Control to ensure that products are going to the correct areas with correct product information on labels & shipping documents
  • Responsible for the receipt distribution and storage of all product material.
  • Log the receipt of material transport to appropriate storage areas or distribute them to the correct machining center or department.
  • Examine incoming and outgoing shipment contents and compare with records (such as manifests invoices or orders) to verify accuracy
  • Check all dunnage for damage and follow procedure to remove from production floor.
  • If problems arise concerning the destination of product or shipping methods require alteration keep all involved parties informed of the changes.
  • Must be able to interact effectively and professionally all internal and external customers (employees truck drivers etc.)
