About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Hospitality Coordinator we are actively seeking an Aged Care experienced Hospitality Assistant to join our team on a permanent parttime basis with 20 hours on offer. The suited candidates will also be willing to help cover planned and unplanned leave.
Shift times:Monday to Sunday
Food Services Assistant Role:
- Assist in the preparation and serving/plating of meals to residents
- Dishwashing clearing of dishes from the dining rooms/residents rooms
- Delivery of friendly and efficient food services to our residents
- Monitoring of food quality quantity and reporting of any issues
To be successful you will have
- Valid working rights in Australia (Passport Birth Certificate etc)
- Complete a police check
- Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain during flu season)
- Evidence of Covid19 vaccination
- Basic Food Safety Practices Certificate
- Sound food preparation experience (preferably in an Aged Care environment)
- Highly organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks
- Highly efficient and motivated
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment at all times
- Knowledge of kitchen processes standards systems and equipment
