Job Description

Description

DES engineers are responsible for creating and administering discrete event simulation models to assist in the design development and launch of manufacturing facilities and processes within Vehicle Operations / Powertrain Operations. This is achieved by developing New Program Simulation Total Plant Simulation Department Simulation Special Simulation request in line with GPDS milestone by using DES Tools & Techniques



Responsibilities

  • Build Run and Validate throughput simulation models.
  • Understand the Throughput simulation procedures and implement the same.
  • Preparation of Input File / Intermediate summary files / Final Presentations etc.
  • Collaborate with process owners (BoP Owners/ Program teams) for input collection and compile and review the results
  • Perform Throughput simulations
  • Gain Alignment of complete throughput simulation with working level alignment with peers to find the optimized solutions and provide awareness to team.
  • Perform What if scenarios as required based on study requests and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Material flow Analysis.


Qualifications

BE / BTech or Equivalent

3 to 5 years experience in Final Assembly Digitial activities.
