The Preschool

KU Mosman Community Preschool is located in the heart of Mosman and caters for children aged 35 years Monday to Friday between 8am 3:30pm during NSW school term time. We take a special interest in childrens literature and this is incorporated into our program through activities such as grouptime discussion author and illustrator studies and the reading of good quality childrens literature. We believe preschool is a warm and welcoming place where children and families can enjoy a sense of belonging a place where children can enhance their confidence and celebrate the joy of being a child.

The Role

At Mosman Community Preschool we value professionalism collaboration and respectful relationships. We are looking for an educator who demonstrates integrity takes pride in their work and is deeply committed to building meaningful supportive relationships with children families and colleagues who places children at the heart of everything they do.

We are looking for aCertificate IIIqualified educator to join the team Monday to Friday Full Time 38 hours per week Monday to Friday on a permanent basis.

Applicants should have:

  • Australian working rights
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • An ACECQA recognised Certificate III qualification
  • Completed Child Protection Training as well as demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
