Job Description

As our Finance Analyst your mission is to provide datadriven insights and support key financial decisions across the company. Youll work closely with senior leadership to analyze performance forecast growth and identify opportunities for improvement playing a crucial role in turning finance into a strategic advantage as we scale internationally.**About EmbatEmbat is an innovative fintech reimagining how companies manage cash liquidity and treasury operations. Were already working with some of the most dynamic companies in Europe and backed by toptier investors. Were now scaling fast in markets like the UK and DACH and building the financial backbone to support that growth is critical. We dont believe in doing things the way theyve always been done. Were building a modern finance stack and we need a Controller who is techforward embraces automation and is excited to work in a productdriven environment where finance and innovation go hand in hand.****Core Responsibilities
- Support the **monthly close process: bank reconciliations journal entries and account analysis.
- Help manage **accounts payable and receivable ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Assist in **reconciling movements across bank accounts including Pleo and internal transfers.
- Record and track **employee expenses subscriptions and supplier invoices.
- Support the **automation and optimization of accounting workflows in Business Central.
- Help prepare **financial reports and audit documentation.
- Collaborate with our Controller to implement internal controls and documentation.
- Provide adhoc support on finance projects (cost analysis reporting cleanups etc.).
**Ideal Profile
- 12 years of experience in accounting preferably in a startup tech or SaaS environment (internships count!).
- Knowledge of Spanish GAAP and/or IFRS.
- Familiarity with ERP systems **Business Central experience is a plus.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Techsavvy mindset excited to work in a digitalfirst environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow. Well teach you the rest.
