A Day in the Life:
- Perform weighing filling labeling sealing and other packaging operations as well as general warehouse duties relating to packaging materials such as unloading bottle trucks and keeping packaging materials in order.
- Complete necessary information for recordkeeping.
- Transport bulk material bottles caps and supplies to filling location.
- Transport packaging goods to warehouse.
- Set up scale checks bottle size sets up containers to be filled.
- See that all specifications and special instructions are followed on the job card or instruction cards.
- Perform necessary quality checks.
- Check materials to see that they are correct.
- Responsible for working safely and for producing quality products.
- Responsible for maintaining assigned equipment clean and in good condition.
- Will perform all other duties as may apply to the existing job description.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- Preferred: Work experience in a manufacturing operations production lab setting or related field
- Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment
Knowledge Skills Abilities:
- Ability to read and write in English
- Candidates who are committed to working in a safe and efficient manner.
- Worker must be capable of operating powered industrial trucks forklift operator experience is helpful
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Candidate must be comfortable working in an environment with hazardous and nonhazardous materials
- Ability to work alternately in a seated or standing position is required
