We are seeking a PRN Surgical/Sterilization Support Technician to play a supportive role in ensuring the meticulous preparation of surgical instrumentation including thorough decontamination inspection and preparation for terminal sterilization. This role executes various sterilization methods such as Autoclave GI and soak sterilization proficiently cleans and sterilizes flexible scopes and efficiently verifies biological testing outcomes. Additionally this role assists the OR team members with room turnovers monitors and reports temperatures and humidity in the OR rooms and collaborates with other team members to complete the daily schedule. Administrative responsibilities include monitoring and restocking inventory using software and computers provided identifying opportunities for quality improvement participating in meetings and committees and maintaining certifications. Successful Surgical/Sterilization Support Technicians perform effectively in emergencies apply their knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control policies and procedures and excel in their communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
