Job Description
This is a remote position.
Job Title: Product Owner (English and German speaker)
Location: European Union
Work Regime: Fulltime & Remote
Overview / Summary:
We are looking for a Product Owner to join our company!
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Define and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with business goals and stakeholder input;
- Write clear and detailed user stories and acceptance criteria based on business needs;
- Collaborate daily with crossfunctional teams including developers designers QA and business analysts;
- Participate in and lead Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning daily standups sprint reviews and retrospectives;
- Translate complex business requirements into functional and technical specifications;
- Use backlog management tools like Azure DevOps to track progress and manage tasks;
- Act as the main point of contact between stakeholders and the development team ensuring alignment and transparency;
- Continuously gather feedback from stakeholders and end users to refine product features and priorities;
- Analyze product performance data to inform decisions and identify opportunities for improvement;
- Communicate effectively in both English and German with technical and nontechnical stakeholders;
- Mitigate risks and resolve conflicts or blockers that arise during the development cycle.
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Product Owner in a technologydriven environment;
- Solid understanding of Agile principles and Scrum framework;
- Proven ability to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements;
- Handson experience with tools like Azure DevOps or similar backlog management platforms;
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across technical and nontechnical stakeholders;
- Strong analytical and problemsolving mindset;
- Ability to work effectively in a crossfunctional fastpaced environment;
- Fluency in written and spoken English and German.
Complementary Requirements:
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO);
- Experience with user acceptance testing and manual frontend validation;
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma Balsamiq).
