Job Summary: The Senior Software Project Manager will oversee the planning execution and successful completion of complex software projects. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills extensive experience in software development and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Requirements
- Project Planning and Management:
- Define project scope goals and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans timelines and resource allocations.
- Coordinate and manage project activities ensuring all phases are completed on time within scope and within budget.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate crossfunctional project teams providing clear direction and support.
- Foster a collaborative and highperformance team environment.
- Manage team performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
- Communicate project status progress and potential risks to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure alignment between project goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Risk Management:
- Identify assess and manage project risks.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report on project risks and issues ensuring timely resolution.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
- Implement and oversee testing and validation processes.
- Facilitate continuous improvement and best practices in project management.
- Budget Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets ensuring costeffectiveness and resource optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (Master s degree preferred).
- PMP PRINCE2 or similar project management certification.
- 5 years of experience in software project management.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g. Zoho Jira Trello etc.)
