VA Admin Bookkeeper
Client : Mowing & Garden Care Brisbane

Work schedule: FLEXI HOURS Between 95 QLD flexible (montue Required 8 hrs wedfriday on flex arrangement client currently has internal admin person
target start date: MAY2025
VA Rate: 8$AUD per hour to start at 25 hours weekly (may proceed to 40 hours per week by 2nd month onwards)
JOB DESCRIPTION :
The position is for a professional in charge of maintaining budgets and records. They also prepare invoices on behalf of clients or employers. Those in this role will be helping with daytoday tasks related directly to their field which means that precision is essential. They also support by performing
clerical tasks including processing and recording transactions preparing reports and budgets fielding communications with clients and vendors factchecking filing and other duties as needed. The role requires excellent organizational communication and multitasking skills as well as a thorough understanding of modern business practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping BAS logging transactions recording and reviewing journal entries creating invoices and crafting spreadsheets.
Communicate with vendors and customers about invoices and payments. This could be by email or phone.
Create and update financial reports. They work on balance sheets statements of income statements of retained earnings and cash flow statements.
Filing and reconciling invoices and identifying discrepancies aligning payments to projects
Creating and updating expense reports
Processing reimbursement forms
Provide administrative support to the team including scheduling and preparing presentations organizing meetings taking notes and summarizing documents.
General document management
Updating communication plans
File and document organization
Email monitoring and organizing
Respond to service enquiries and requests (call email)
Communicate and liaise with key stakeholders services users families staff and advocates.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
Familiarity with finance regulations in Australia
Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
Handson experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. Xero)
Ability to handle sensitive confidential information
Previous experience in a similar role and work experience with an Australian construction company (preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
Experience in using ServiceM8 is a PLUS
Experience in using Xero
JOB REQUIREMENT 1. Minimum 1-2yrs BOOKKEEPER / ACCOUNTANT experience, preferably supporting Australia. 2. Xero Experience is REQUIRED PREFERRED BACKGROUND - BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER : 1. Experience with an Australian construction Industry is an Advantage. 2. Experience in using ServiceM8 is a PLUS. (Integrated with Xero)
