Our client an energy/power distribution company seeks to employ a Network Standards Compliance Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
To carry out the enforcement of technical standards and regulations.
Monitoring the compliance of distribution networks against the set standards by the commission.
Carry out inspection testing and certification of all categories of electrical installation in the Nigerian electricity supply industry and other allied industries/workplaces.
Ensure that the implementation of Distribution Expansion Plans by the Distribution Companies aligns with the projections agreed with the Commission.
Monitoring the compliance to metering standards
Monitor Load Allocations and Uptakes by the Distribution Companies and report variances for Commission s further actions.
Monitor compliance with the Distribution Code Health & Safety Code NESIS and other Regulatory Instruments by the Distribution Companies.
Regularly liaise with the Distribution Companies relating to Distribution technical issues.
Review evaluation and reporting of Compliance Performance Report of the Discos.
Provide technical inputs in the development of new standards for the Power Industry in Lagos State.
Requirements
First Degree & Master s in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent
Minimum years of experience: 6 years

SelfStarter
Modelling Applications Project Management Software Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint.
Sound knowledge of the application of the following packages: NEPLAN MATLAB PSCAD PSSE Engineering Modelling Applications Project Management Softwares Metering Management Applications Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint Phyton SQL Advanced Excel
