Job Description

Westfield Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for an anticipated opening.RESPONSIBILITIES:Teach students various aspects of the electrical industry including residential commercial and industrial wiring. Instruct students in the Electrical field respective to MA General Code and National Electrical Code (NFPA 70) aligned with CVTE Chapter 74 quality instruction relative to all aspects of health and safety as they relate to the electrical and lesson plan development Provides individual and group instruction appropriate to the needs of the student(s) and the requirements of the activities being student progress through assignments projects and exams providing constructive feedback to support skill a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning collaboration and ongoing communication with families business and school uptodate knowledge of industry trends tools and technologies and incorporate them into the compliance with all local state and federal education regulations.REPORTS TO: Building Director or his/her and terms of employment will be commensurate with the Westfield Public Schools Unit A contract. Salary placement will be based on information contained in the application as on this job will be evaluated in accordance with the Westfield School Committee policy on evaluation.This position subject to funding.
