Job Description
Essex North Shoreis seekinga CTAEInstructionalCoach starting after the new fiscal CTAE Instructional Coach works collaboratively with CTAE teachers the Teacher Induction Supervisor and administrators to improve the quality of teaching and student learning in a vocational setting. This nonevaluative role focuses on providing jobembedded professional development mentoring and coaching to support the implementation of effective instructional practices and curriculum standards in vocational programming.
CORI SORI and SAFIS required.
Bilingual preferred.
Job Description
CTAE Instructional Coach
Qualifications:
- ValidChapter 74MA DESEprofessionalteaching certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of successfulCTEteaching experience.
- Strong knowledge ofthe MA DESE Vocational Curriculum Frameworkscurriculum instruction and assessment.
- OSHA certification preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Instructional Support & Collaboration
- Partner withCTAEteachers to coplan coteach and model effective instructional strategies.
- Facilitate coaching cycles that include planning observation feedback and reflection.
- ProvideCTAE programsupport to implement differentiated and inclusive instructional practices.
Professional Learning
- Stay current on evidencebased instructional strategies curriculum trends and educational research.
Data Analysis & Instructional Planning
SupportCTEteachers in analyzing formative and summative data to inform instruction.
Collaborate withCTEstaff to implement datadriven instructional decisions.
