Job Description
TRex Solutions is seeking a qualified Help Desk Specialist to support of a secure customer located at Hill Air Force Base Utah (HAFB). The overall program that this role supports aims to modernize legacy USAF network infrastructure and migrate services into a new AWS Cloud Environment. For any candidates not already local to the Ogden UT area TRex is offering a relocation support package to assist with moving costs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Help Desk ticket management for the Hill CEDC and its customer programs.
- Triage incident and work order tickets for classification and priority perform ticket updates where required and be the central point of contact for customers seeking status updates or scheduling information.
- Incident Management and Troubleshooting using Jira BMC Remedy or equivalent tools to log track prioritize and resolve incidents and service requests.
- Ability to quickly diagnose hardware software and networkrelated issues to expedite the escalating of complex cases to higherlevel support or specialized teams.
- Accountable to ensure timely resolution of tickets within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) specifically at it pertains to Incident management.
- Monitor IT infrastructure and system performance using SolarWinds or similar monitoring tools.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate with the appropriate teams to resolve issues quickly.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to address systemwide issues or service disruptions.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Business or IT related field with two (2) or more years of related professional experience. A Masters Degree and 0 years of experience or a PhD and 0 years of experience may be substituted.
- Must possess an Interim or Active Secret Clearance
- Must possess a current CompTIA Security certification
- Effective communication and collaboration skills are required for interfacing with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Proficiency with Windows applications (Word Excel and PowerPoint).

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines the annual base salary range for this position is $65000 $95000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. TRex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position candidates work experience education/training key skills internal peer equity as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
