- Model and be an advocate for excellent customer service practices
- Assist job seekers in finding the right pathway within the WorkSource Center
- Direct customers to appropriate programs and services within the WorkSource
- Under the direction of the Supervisor may provide a leadership role for the Talent Development Specialist Team
- May continue to do the functions of a Talent Development Specialist with some additional leadership duties
- Collaborate within integrated team settings and meetings within the WorkSource
- Accurately record eligibility enrollment assessment services and placement information within tracking systems
- Assist the supervisor with quality checking the teams work such as eligibility enrollment launch pad and services
- Assist the team with data entry and case management questions
- Assist the team with quick hires
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree OR 2 years of related work experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (strong verbal communication good listener articulate culturally sensitive and excellent written communication)
- Demonstrated experience with workload management; plan and organize assignments to create timely accurate work products
- Demonstrated analytical skills to include using logic and reasoning to assess information form logical conclusions evaluate options and make decisions or recommendations
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word MS Excel MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook
- Knowledge of characteristics associated with unemployed dislocated and disadvantaged populations
- Strong writing skills to include report writing.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with federal state and local regulations relating to employment and training programs including general knowledge of the workforce onestop and partner programs and services
- Experienced with working in a fast paced team environment
