Finance & Accounting Intern (Summer): To assist the Finance and Accounting department with Account Payable (Service Supply Trane Parklawn) and Credit and Collections duties.
Workplace Type: Hybrid: 3 days per week in person
Office Location: Gaithersburg MD
Essential Duties:
Assist with Trane Invoice Indexing and Vouchering
Assist with Service Business related costing (indexing)
Assist with Supply Business related costing (indexing)
Assist with Parklawn Business related costing (indexing)
Accounts payable assist with Statement Reconciliation
Respond to client requests for invoices and/or statements
Credit and Collections: Update client accounts
Credit and Collections: Initial and followup contact with clients about past due balances this is expected to be in the form of email and phone calls
Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
Currently pursuing a college degree
1 year of work experience preferred
Client service experience preferred
Knowledgeable in MS Office; Adobe and Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communication able to prioritize and strong critical thinking and listening skills
Detailed organized analytical able to multitask enjoys staying busy
