Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Technical Innovation Center in Austin (TX) or Warren (MI) three times per week at minimum. This position can be located at either of these 2 locations.

The Role

We are seeking a driven and talentedSalesforce Software Engineerto join our team. This role provides an opportunity to develop and support cuttingedge Salesforce solutions while contributing to ourGM Energyprocesses and business objectives.

We are looking for someone will bring strong technical expertise initiative and the ability to collaborate effectively within a fastpaced environment. This role requires a focus on quality performance and innovation with opportunities to grow technical and professional skills.

What Youll Do

• Design develop and test Salesforce solutions including Apex Lightning Web Components (LWCs) Visualforce pages and process automations.

• Develop automated test scripts and refine code for performance optimization.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define user and system specifications and translate these into effective technical solutions.

• Apply foundational practices such as the software development lifecycle (SDLC) testdriven development (TDD) and version control.

• Leverage critical thinking and debugging skills to identify and resolve technical issues.

• Participate in architectural and design reviews to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with peers mentors and managers to enhance team contributions.

• Identify opportunities to drive improvements in productivity and efficiency.

• Suggest novel solutions to complex problems and proactively contribute to team and project goals.

• Demonstrates very good understanding of the processes and procedures relevant to own work area with the ability to exercise decisionmaking skills sufficient to identify and propose solutions to leadership. Understands different areas of their function and how the operations of their area relate to others.

• Identifies and corrects nonroutine problems in existing systems and processes through independent judgment. Independently identifies and applies appropriate company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.

• Works under general supervision with limited guidance and direction. Determines an appropriate course of action within broad guidelines and can handle nearly every standard or typical request independently.

Additional Job Description

Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications)

• Bachelors degree in Engineer Computer Science or related field

• 3 years of salesforce software engineering/development experience

• Indepth expertise in Salesforce development (Apex LWCs Visualforce SOQL)

• Ability to manage multiple timelines and deliverables effectively

• Strong engineering practices in a specific domain with demonstrated proficiency in software development testing and debugging

• Selfdriven with a proven ability to learn and grow with mentoring and guidance

• Working knowledge of additional programming languages and software design principles

• Experience with Salesforce integrations using APIs and middleware (e.g. MuleSoft)

• Higher levels of education (Masters degree)
