Spectrum Healthcare Resources is a leading provider of healthcare services and we are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team in Rapid City South Dakota. Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures by providing chairside support.
- Prepare treatment rooms instruments and materials needed for dental procedures.
- Take and process dental Xrays.
- Record patient medical history and treatment information in electronic health records.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and postoperative care.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program.
- Current Dental Assistant certification in the state of South Dakota.
- Xray certification preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented healthcare setting.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience.
- Familiarity with electronic health records.
- Experience with pediatric and general dentistry is a plus.
