Job Description

Manufacturing Plant Manager

Bainbridge Island WA

Our client a leading outdoor sporting equipment and apparel company is seeking a strategic and experienced Manufacturing Plant Manager to oversee its manufacturing operations. The role is responsible for managing the full production process driving operational excellence efficiency and scalability in the creation of highquality performancedriven equipment.

The ideal candidate brings lean manufacturing expertise strong leadership and people skills. This highimpact role focuses on improvement team growth and quality while connecting with a passionate outdoorsy community.

Manufacturing Plant Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage daytoday plant operations with a focus on safety quality cost and productivity.
  • Use KPIs and data to drive performance improvements and resolve resource constraints.
  • Implement lean manufacturing and visual systems to streamline processes and reduce waste.
  • Strengthen training programs and ensure adherence to SOPs and crosstraining standards.
  • Lead and mentor supervisors fostering a culture of accountability and continuous development.
  • Partner with Engineering and R&D to ensure new products are designed for scalable production.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support smooth operations across departments.
  • Optimize ERP use for planning reporting and material flow.

Manufacturing Plant Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering Business or related field.
  • At least 5 years in manufacturing management with a strong background in lean principles.
  • Demonstrated leadership in team development and operational improvements.
  • Proficient in ERP systems Excel and manufacturing tools.
  • Excellent communicator and problemsolver thrives in overseeing the production of specialized products in team settings.
