The Opportunity

Our Information Services team is evolving to meet the needs of our growing Energy Marketing team a nonregulated affiliate Gas Power and Emissions marketing and trading business. We are seeking a teammate in Houston; a tech savvy individual who wants to be part of a crossfunctional team invested in delivering value through technology for our Energy Marketing team. This person will collaborate with our business team in Houston as well as with a distributed end to end IS Energy Marketing team throughout the entire lifecycle of plan build and run.

What youll do

As a IS Functional Endur Business Analyst you will work closely with the Energy Marketing team and IS end to end team to provide functional support for our Energy Marketing business through front middle and back office functions:

• As the subject matter expert in the Endur ETRM system and greater ecosystem you will participate in the implementation process including system configuration solution fit delivery of customized training and ongoing support to endusers and management to ensure successful system adoption.
• Familiar with Physical and Financial trading concepts in the context of software applications (Deal capture for variety of instruments such as Derivatives and Futures contracts deal approval processes interfaces with exchanges or Market Data providers Risk and Credit exposure monitoring PNL and performance reporting EOD batch jobs etc.)
• Involved with modelling of deals risk metrics and pricing models
• Maintain and support curve management and curve formulation
• Participate in delivery of new functionality required for business process change including definition development implementation and maintenance of software solutions for growing business including market data analytics and monitoring tool suite
• Understand product support best practices test strategy and planning
• Ensure all documentation is created and maintained for functional support purposes
• Seek Continuous Improvements opportunities across the Energy Marketing business and IS department
• Work collaboratively with other teams and actively seek functional improvements and take actions to optimize functional delivery
• Leading requirements fulfillment for Functional Endur ETRM Support across front middle and/or back office
• Adhere to TC Energy standards on change management problem management and incident tracking

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Business Finance Computer Science Engineering or related field from a recognized institution is a requirement
• 8 years of Business Analysis related experience
• 6 years industry experience in energy supply trading and/or risk management
• 6 years of ETRM systems experience
• 6 years of Endur experience including functional support configuration and troubleshooting
• Extensive experience with Endur and exposure to Commodities trading.
• Demonstrated strong partnership teamwork and communication skills with a focus on customer service
• Excellent problem solving decision analysis interpersonal and consulting skills
• Willingness and ability to adapt and learn new technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a Gas Power and Emissions commodity trading environment
• Resultsoriented with strong identification and initiation of continuous improvement opportunities and the ability to manage change
• Strategic mindset with experience in managing many initiatives with strong execution and implementation skills
• Demonstrates initiative and makes sound judgement to effectively resolve issues
