DescriptionThe Compensation team has an exciting opportunity for a highenergyexperienced Compensation Associate to create and execute compensation strategies for an organization within Global Banking. This individual must have a critically important balance of business acumen organizational agility strategy development and analytical capability to drive initiatives that directly support JPMorgan Chases corporate function.
As a Compensation Associate within the firm you will execute the compensation strategy for the assigned client area. You will devise and implement compensation approaches to attract reward and retain the talent necessary to meet JPMCs goals in a rapidly changing environment.
Job responsibilities:
- Providing compensation consulting and thought leadership to business leaders and business unit functions in close partnership with HR Business Advisors
- Performing complex analyses and presenting findings to senior management
- Consulting with HR Business Advisors Recruiting and Senior Managers to create competitive offer packages for key strategic hires
- Review and approval of offer packages to ensure competitiveness and compliance with corporate governance guidelines
- Leading compensation related projects and initiatives involving multiple stakeholders with significant strategic and financial impact
- Continually assessing market conditions and pay practices to ensure competitiveness of compensation plans and programs
- Translating regulatory and policy governance/requirements into clear guidance for clients
- Leveraging corporate partners and firmwide resources to achieve desired outcomes efficiently and with consistency across lines of business where appropriate
Required qualifications capabilities and skills:
- 2 years relative HR and/or compensation experience
- Welldeveloped analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and to cultivate and sustain strong partnerships with internal and external clients and colleagues
- Strong planning and project management skills
- Ability to drive business goals through HR / Compensation strategies and to address issues / devise solutions with creativity and innovation
- Exceptional systems skills. Advanced MS Excelskills required.
- Ability to drive and sustain operational excellence and to develop controls
- Bachelors degree required
