About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6700 students and employs 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students three elementary schools for grades 14 two middle schools for grades 58 and one high school for grades 912.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
The math coordinator is responsible for leading the development implementation and continuous improvement of the districts mathematics curriculum and instructional practices. This position involves coaching teachers ensuring alignment with state standards and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in math education. The coordinator will collaborate with administrators teachers and other stakeholders to enhance student achievement and engagement in mathematics.For more information please see the job description for this newly authorizedMath Coordinator position.
Start date: August 11 2025
Contract: 210 days
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in mathematics education.Masters degree in education and/or administrator license is strongly preferred.Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience in mathematics at the K12 level.Experience in instructional coaching professional development facilitation or curriculum leadership.
Salary & Benefits
Competitive salary and benefits package. This position is not included in a collective bargaining agreement. Actual terms and conditions of individual contract will be determined at time of offer. Salary range $90000$105000 commensurate with experience and qualifications in same or similar role.
