Looking for a great career opportunity Come join Wood as a Shop Mechanic III in Midland Texas. Wood offers health benefits 401K vacation and more. The shop mechanic will provide maintenance and support on production facilities.
Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required
Responsibilities
Ensure operations sites are being maintained in a safe manner
Repairs maintains and installs oil well drilling machinery and equipment
Uses hand tools and following oral and written work orders
Attaches hoisting cables to pumps transmissions diesel engines and other equipment at drill sites
Lashes equipment to trucks for transfer to repair yard
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications
8 years of formal or industry experience
Must be able to perform duties with minimal supervision.
Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced facility personnel
Must be able to communicate and work with other personnel departments and outside officials.
Selfstarter with strong planning technical and analytical skills
Preferred:
Oil and Gas experience
