Job Description:

Help the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife fulfill its mission: To protect and enhance Oregons fish and wildlife and their habitats for use and enjoyment by present and future generations.

We are hiring for one permanent fulltime position located in Salem Oregon. NOTE: May consider other ODFW office locations upon request.

What you will do:

This position provides scientific and operational leadership and direction to the Inland Fish Science Program. Program staff conduct research monitoring and analyses on aquatic species and their habitat and provide resulting information to others for the use in natural resource management decisions that are vital to achieving the agencys mission especially in the face of challenging complex and controversial issues and worsening conditions caused by climate change.
