Job Description
NBCUniversal is looking for a Fleet Service Technician to join the Studio Operations team in Doraville GA. In this role you will support the repairs and maintenance of all onlot vehicles which includes largely rentable production assets and a small fleet of golf carts. You will also be the primary liaison for an external vendor as needed.
What Youll Do:
Work closely with the Manager of Transportation Transportation Scheduler and broader Transportation team for billing outsourcing and scheduling with production
Support basic maintenance on all related rental and in house transportation equipment (i.e. tire changes/repair light mechanical work general vehicle service)
Data entry for repair and maintenance records
Administer check in and check out procedures with the direction from the Manager of Transportation and Transportation Scheduler.
Fleet oversight
Responsible for vehicle and equipment presentation
Responsible for liaising with 3rd party providers for major equipment repairs
Responsible for vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting
Golf cart maintenance and repair
Responsible for annual vehicle inspections
Subject to U.S.D.O.T. mandated drug and alcohol testing
Will own and provide basic mechanical tools
Qualifications :

What You Must Have:
- 5 years of vehicle mechanic experience
- 2 years experience and proven ability to perform diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle types
- 2 years exhibiting strong communication and relationship management skills with all levels and types of production and fleet roles
- Class B Drivers License
What Would Make You a Standout:
- Class A Drivers License
- Fleet repair and maintenance experience
- Prior billing and vendor partnership experience
Additional Requirements:
- Required OnSite: This position is required to be performed fulltime from an NBCUniversaldesignated worksite.
