Job Description
Help us protect all Amazon customers from Prime Video to Fulfillment Centers. We are looking for a security focused Senior UX Designer who wants to make a difference and ensure that protecting customer data is at the forefront of all development.
What you will work on:
You will design and develop products used by all Amazon builders to identify track and eliminate security issues throughout the software development lifecycle. You will be challenged by largescale data visualization and dependency constraints as you build features that delight your customers and you will learn about and integrate critical systems across Amazon. We believe in experimentation iterating quickly and getting feedback from our customers.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a creative customer and detailsobsessed Senior UX Designer familiar with endtoend product design processes and modern design systems. You need to have strong UX fundamentals (usercentered design information architecture and interaction patterns) and a deep understanding of design systems and componentbased architecture. Our ideal candidate demonstrates proficiency in modern design tools like Figma or Adobe XD for creating highfidelity prototypes and maintaining design systems along with experience in componentbased design principles and atomic design methodology. You should have understanding of frontend technologies like React Angular or to effectively collaborate with development teams as well as knowledge of design token implementation and designtodevelopment handoff processes. The role requires the ability to translate complex user research into actionable design solutions experience conducting usability studies and implementing iterative design improvements understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles and a proven track record of building and maintaining scalable design systems. You will need to be able to balance user needs while considering the longterm impact on the product ecosystem and design system scalability. We need someone who stays current with UX trends and best practices and wants to work with an experienced team in a quickmoving agile and highly collaborative environment. The ideal candidate should have experience with design version control and collaboration tools knowledge of prototyping tools understanding of modern CSS frameworks and component libraries and familiarity with user research tools and methodologies.
Key job responsibilities
* Own the UX of an emerging product with impact across Amazon.
* Create userfocused designs by considering data customer feedback user research and technical constraints.
* Quickly and thoroughly create user flows wireframes design mockups and prototypes to effectively conceptualize new product initiatives.
* Thoughtfully simplify and distill complex processes into intuitive and elegant experiences.
* Establish and maintain detailed userinterface patterns and specificationsworking closely with developers to see your design through to deployment.
* Communicate complex interactive design concepts clearly across different audiences and varying levels of leadership.
* Partner closely with other product and design teams across Amazon.

Have an available online portfolio
Experience with design tools such as Photoshop Illustrator and InDesign and prototyping in HTML JavaScript CSS Ajax
Experience applying scrum to visual or UX design processes
Experience with UX design of complex workflows
