JOB SUMMARY.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identifies locates and purchases materials supplies and equipment in a cost effective manner. Completes necessary purchasing documentation.
Maintains accurate inventory of assets and supplies. Forecasts inventory needs.
Prioritizes purchase requests to provide timely delivery of necessary products.
May maintain product information and warranty files.
May be responsible for patient charge capture for dispensed medical supplies to ensure accurate patient billing.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES
Data Entry (Intermediate): The ability to transcribe information from the original source into an electronic system according to written and verbal instructions efficiently and accurately.
Cost Allocation (Intermediate): Analyzing and recording costs to the appropriate accounts.
Purchasing (Fundamental Awareness): Understands the concepts behind supplier relations and supply chain management. Handles supplierrelated activities requests for pricing and purchases of goods and services while ensuring appropriate costs schedules quality deliveries terms and conditions.
Inventory Management (Intermediate): Monitors material movement into and out of stock reconciles inventory balances and maintains adequate inventory levels.
Quality Assurance (Novice): Understands the goal of increasing organizational productivity and individual performance by making the products and services within your work assignments more efficient and more effective.
