The Credit Analyst reviews and assesses merchant applications to determine if they are an acceptable risk according to the Credit Policy. You will use sound judgement decision making abilities and objective information to determine what is an acceptable risk.
Oversee and maintain departmental spreadsheets in Excel and generate reports from the data collected
Calls/faxes bank and trade references verifying credit applications and applies that information to determine a judgment on applications according to Credit Policy
Inform applicable departments and customers of the application review results and articulate the factors behind the final determination
Ability to analyze issues combine information into key points and make recommendations
Education and Experience: Bachelors Degree in related field and 0 years; OR HS/GED and 4 years relevant experience
PC literate with proficiency in general Microsoft Office applications including Excel
Accurate data entry and 10 key skills

Must be 18 years of age or older

Credit experience
Exceptional mathematical skills with respect to calculating discounts percentages interests commissions and proportions
Collect and research data
Establish facts and draw legitimate conclusions
Interpret technical instructions within complex diagrams and abstract and concrete variables
Read analyze and utilize information from business periodicals professional journals technical manuals procedures and credit reports
Written and oral communication to develop and deliver reports procedures and correspondence with vendors peers and leadership
