The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for leading the planning development and execution of comprehensive test strategies to ensure the delivery of highquality software solutions. This role collaborates closely with crossfunctional teams including development product management and DevOps to identify and resolve issues throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in automated testing cloudbased environments and CI/CD practices with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering reliable scalable and secure applications. As a senior team member this role also mentors junior QA engineers and contributes to continuous process improvement.
Masters degree in Computer Science Business Administration or a related field.
10 years of experience in software quality assurance.
10 years of experience with Manual testing Automation testing Accessibility testing.
Handson experience with automated testing tools (e.g. Selenium Cypress Playwright).
Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
including experience in test planning test automation and defect tracking.
Due to requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government candidates for this position must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be eligible to secure and maintain a clearance.
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
Proficient in writing Test Scenarios Test Cases Test Estimating Traceability Matrix Knowledge Transfer documents.
12 years of directly related experience.
5 years with Agile Development experience.
4 years working with Department of Defense customers.
