Job Description
Old Rochester Regional School District is currently seeking a full time school/principal secretary at Rochester Memorial Elementary School for grades PreK 6. The school secretary works while school is in session with addition days before and after the school year. Commitment to diversity equity and inclusion work is essential for the ideal candidate. Proficient in Microsoft Office & Google Suite office duties include but not limited to:prepare and send correspondencereceive and route incoming/outgoing mail and telephone callsmonitor the main entrance doorsestablish and maintain files and recordsprepare process and submit reports and formstype and distribute bulletins agendas notices and other communications as requested by the Principalmanage phone calls dismissal notices and new student registrationsmaintain accurate and timely payroll records including but not limited to hourly wage employees and attendance of all staff and substitutesschedule and maintain an accurate uptodate calendar of events that occur during the day and after school hoursprocess purchase orders as requested by the Principaldemonstrates cordial and professional communicateion with all school personnel students parents and the community in generalmaintain positive working relationships with all school personnel students and parents maintain confidentiality on all matters participate as a member of the office staff and shares duties as appropriatedemonstrates proficiency with Excel Microsoft Word Google Suiteperforms all other responsibilities as directed by the Principal Old Rochester Regional believes in the importance of being a diverse equitable and inclusive organization that enables our students and staff to thrive.
