Job Description

Salary range is $66k to $170k with a midpoint of $118k. New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint however we may go slightly higher based on experience internal equity and market.

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Under general direction of the Manager Paratransit and Bus Bridging works with operating partners to ensure development coordination and delivery of a bus bridging program for Sound Transit. The Senior Program Manager Bus Bridging is responsible for coordinating with partners to ensure agency expectations are met for level of service for Sound Transits passengers. This role is responsible for deep coordination with partners internal and external to ensure work is completed in advance of planned service disruptions and support program management in the event of unplanned disruptions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The following duties are a representative summary of the primary duties and responsibilities. Incumbent(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed and may be required to perform additional positionspecific duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience: Bachelors Degree in Business Management Public Transportation Business Administration or related field. Five years of experience with bus operations and/or bus transit planning and public transportation in a highly collaborative environment. Experience managing and directing transit operations functions for large complex programs/ organizations preferred; Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
