Sanitation Technician:
MycoWorks is hiring a Sanitation Technician. The Sanitation Technicians are responsible for ensuring a clean and sanitary environment within controlled areas of the facility. This role involves maintaining sanitation protocols regular cleanings and verifications to ensure the standards and compliances of MycoWorks are achieved. The Sanitation Technician will work closely with the Operations and Quality teams to support ongoing efforts to meet company standards and practices.
Job Duties:
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitization within the plant. Including but not limited to: clean room areas surfaces equipment and tools.
- Wear proper PPE and safety equipment at all times to ensure a safe work environment.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for sanitization and contamination control.
- Monitor and document all sanitation activities. Including but not limited to: Cleaning schedules chemical usage inspection results audits etc.
- Safe handling usage and proper disposal of cleaning agents chemicals and proper waste disposal (including hazardous and biological waste).
- Assist in inventory counts of cleaning materials equipment and additional supplies.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure sanitation standards are being met and potential contamination risks are identified.
- Work crossfunctionally with other teams. Participate in training and compliance initiatives related to clean room protocols.
Experience Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
- Experience in clean room environments or related industries (pharmaceutical biotech etc.).
- Knowledge of sanitation methods cleaning agents and safety protocols.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift and carry 25 50 lbs.
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required including a N95 mask.
- Willingness to work at heights and in confined spaces when necessary.

Starting wage: From $17.50 & a $2 Shift Differential
Shift hours: 12hr shifts in a 223 schedule where you work alternating weekends
