Job Title: Manager Distribution Engineering
Location: Dayton Ohio US

Job Description:As a Manager of Distribution Engineering you will collaborate with both internal and external customers to identify their power requirements and design projects that meet these needs safely reliably and costeffectively.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the Distribution Engineering Joint Use Pricing and Invoicing teams.
- Provide technical support to various internal departments including Planning Standards Metering Test Department Network Call Center Major Accounts Contractor Customer Dispatch Operations Systems Operating and Line Department.
- Ensure customers receive safe reliable and costeffective power solutions by taking ownership of customer interactions.
- Plan schedule and direct daily departmental activities within your area of accountability.
- Manage major and highly political projects providing troubleshooting skills to ensure timely and budgetcompliant completion.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets ensuring financial targets are met.
- Advise senior management on technical issues and make recommendations as needed.
- Approve customer invoice amounts and ensure accurate billing.
- Participate in storm response efforts as required.
- Oversee contractor supplemental workforce.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in an Engineeringrelated field from an accredited college/university (preferably mechanical or electrical).
- 57 years of experience in electric distribution operations.
- Proven experience in leading and managing professional work groups.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
