Purpose Brand and Corporate Affairs is responsible for all aspects of CIBCs communications sponsorship and community investment event management and client strategies to amplify our coverage and retention of key strategic clients across the enterprise. Our goal is to build a client-focused culture engage and enable leaders and employees and build and protect our brand.
We work with all Strategic Business Unit to develop strategies that evolve and amplify our client engagement coverage and retention model for key strategic clients across the enterprise.
The Senior Manager Measurement and Effectiveness is accountable for bringing CIBCs brand to life in the US Region and driving outcomes. Reporting to the Sr. Director US Brand Marketing and Sponsorships the Senior Manager develops a strategic roadmap to deliver best in class brand and sponsorship campaigns to support enterprise priorities. The role will advance CIBCs Purpose-driven culture and deliver on our client commitments through every decision and action related to our US Brand and Marketing.
What Youll Be Doing
Support implementation of sponsorship agreements and events in the US Region. Lead relationship / serve as liaison with Events team to activate client events in support of Sponsorship strategy.
Ensure initiatives deliver against plan objectives are aligned to strategic priorities and support key marketing principles.
Ensure effective project management including planning briefing execution and measurement of key initiatives.
Showcase your experience and ability to develop and lead the marketing. processes from brief writing through to execution and reporting across multi-channel campaigns.
Manage internal approval processes on programs and campaigns. Ensure on-going communication and manage on-going weekly status updates on all aspects of assigned projects.
Build and develop relationships with the key stakeholder contacts to become a true trusted business partner.
Support CIBCs compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and risk management for US Marketing by recommending and implementing new processes and/or efficiencies to current processes.
Working knowledge of financial services regulatory requirements and first line risk management responsibilities.
Who You Are
You can demonstrate 5 years of experience in marketing. Its an asset if you come with a College Business/Marketing degree.
You have experience working in the US marketplace and implementing brand strategies in this region.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Youll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where youll spend 2-3 days per week on-site at 120 S. LaSalle while other days will be remote.
At CIBC we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $135000-$160000 based on experience qualifications and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business units incentive compensation plan which also may include a discretionary bonus offers a full range of benefits and programs to meet our employees needs; including Medical Dental Vision Health Savings Account Life Insurance Disability and Other Insurance Plans Paid Time Off (including Sick Leave Parental Leave and Vacation) Holidays and 401(k) in addition to other special perks reserved for our team members.
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. Additional total compensation and benefits details will be provided during the hiring process.
