Information about the department
The GCC-PCB is a manufacturing facility within the Thales Group and is a highly specialized manufacturer of state-of-the-art Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) for aerospace defense and medical applications. The facility is capable of producing the most challenging PCB designs using the highest quality standards. The GCC-PCB consists of approximately 75 people 16 of whom work within the Engineering addition to products for Thales the GCC-PCB also supplies products to external customers.

About the assignment

• Continue and improve OEE measurements on the current eight bottleneck processes to record losses as an input for improvement
• Improve OEE reporting in Power BI
• Hand over the daily control from intern to team leaders
• Hand over the weekly reporting from intern to new responsible
• Analyze OEE data and other data on (potential) bottlenecks within ICCG-PCB and make improvement proposals. If possible execute one improvement proposal.

Affinity and/or experience with.
You will be working in a very technical environment where working with data drives improvement. You will be in close touch with operators. You have to be able to build a close relationship with them to measure their output to get data for OEE product costs and load calculation. Analytical skills will be needed to compare and select suppliers for OEE measurments. Affinity with interest in lean manufacturing is desired.

Samen met een uitgebreid ecosysteem van kennispartners klanten en leveranciers werken we aan radars voor zeeschepen cybersecurity-oplossingen transportsystemen communicatieapparatuur voor landstrijdkrachten cryogene koeloplossingen en onderzoek & ontwikkeling voor radartechniek (in samenwerking met TU Delft).

Informatie over de afdeling en/of team
Het ICCG-PCB is een productiefaciliteit binnen de Thales Group en is een sterk gespecialiseerde fabrikant van state-of-the-art Printed Circuit Boards (printplaten) voor lucht- en ruimtevaart defensie en medische faciliteit is in staat om de meest uitdagende PCB ontwerpen te produceren gebruikmakend van de hoogste kwaliteitsstandaarden. Het ICCG-PCB bestaat uit circa 75 personen waarvan er 16 werkzaam zijn binnen het Engineering team. Het ICCG-PCBlevert naast producten voor Thales tevens producten aan externe klanten.

Over de opdracht

• OEE-metingen voortzetten en verbeteren op de huidige acht bottleneck-processen om verliezen te registreren als input voor verbetering
• OEE-rapportage in Power BI verbeteren
• Overdracht dagelijks OEE beheer van stagiair naar teamleiders
• Overdracht wekelijkse rapportage van stagiair naar andere verantwoordelijke
• Aanlyseren van OEE data en andere data op (potentiele) bottlenecks binnen ICCG-PCB en voorstellen doen voor verbeteringen. Indien mogelijk één verbetervoorstel uitvoeren.

Affiniteit

• Je werkt in een zeer technische omgeving waar het werken met data leidt tot verbetering. Je staat in nauw contact met operators. Je moet in staat zijn een hechte relatie met hen op te bouwen om hun output te meten en gegevens te verkrijgen voor OEE. Affiniteit met interesse in lean manufacturing is gewenst.
