Statement of the job: UMA Counseling Center is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students staff and faculty. The Clinical Mental Health Counselor provides direct inperson and remote clinical services to UMA students through shortterm counseling crisis intervention and referrals. This role provides essential support to our student population through a collaborative and holistic approach.

Qualifications
Required:
- Masters degree in counseling social work or related discipline
- Clinical counseling license eligible
Preferred:
- Experience working with college students or in an educational setting
- Awareness of student development stages for both traditionalage and nontraditionalage students
Salary: The normal hiring salary range for this position is in the mid to high $50s and is commensurate with training education and experience and will take into consideration the salary of current UMS employees for transfer/promotion.
