Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a motivated and detailoriented Legal Intern to join our team in the Philadelphia PA area beginning Summer 2025 or earlier if a students schedule allows. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain handson experience in an inhouse role for a global organization. We are looking for someone who is detailoriented proactive and interested in developing expertise in nuances of public contracting use of international labor and related compliance issues (including crossborder data privacy issues). This role will have a specific and concentrated focus on conducting legal reviews and research in this area.
The role will support our Business Area Counsel leading multiple North American Business Areas. The positions hours are flexible and can be adapted to the Interns class schedule; with an expectation to be parttime during the academic year (approximately 1020 hours per week) and potentially more hours per week during the Summer. Should the student wish to remain with the company beyond the Summer there is potential for the internship to extend into subsequent semesters as work may require.
Role accountabilities:
Your primary work and responsibilities will include conducting contract reviews and legal research related to Arcadis use of NonU.S. Labor on local projects. With the state of the World and political climate along with a Global Organization performing work for U.S. public bodies using public funds there is now greater scrutiny than ever on crossborder labor. The primary function of the position is to assist with reviewing contracts and law for possible prohibitions or conditional use of crossborder labor. The role will also entail assisting with developing a catalogue of findings for a robust library of the data compiled.

With outstanding written and verbal communication skills meticulous attention to detail and a teamoriented mindset they are equipped to deliver highquality results while contributing effectively to collaborative efforts.
The ideal candidate resides in the Philadelphia/TriState area to accommodate occasional inperson meetings while embracing a predominantly remote role. With the immediate supervisor based parttime in Philadelphia and the North America Legal Team dispersed across various locations the candidate should be adaptable and comfortable collaborating in a virtual environment. They should also demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn from experienced inhouse counsel taking advantage of mentorship opportunities to further develop their expertise.

Arcadis offers benefits for parttime as needed positions. These benefits include EAP 401K and optional well being benefits. The salary range for this position is $22.20 $33.30/ per hour. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
