Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is recruiting for a Civil Engineer Supervisor. The Civil Engineer Supervisor will serve as a water quality engineering program/project supervisor supervising staff including engineers specialists and other professionals. Overseeing most technically complex large and visible/ high priority programs/projects that require a high level of technical proficiency. Also coordinating and having administrative responsibilities in water treatment facilities projects that require extensive knowledge in engineering water treatment distribution system and state and federal regulatory compliance.

Experience:Minimum of six (6) years professional civil engineering experience including two (2) years supervisory experience.
Education:Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology.
Experience and Education Equivalency:Combinations of appropriate education training certification and experience will be evaluated on an individual basis for comparability to the minimum education and experience requirements.

Workplace Environment:This position allows for the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule. Employees will be required to come into the office/treatment facility three times a week. Individual schedules will be agreed upon by the employee and their supervisor.
The full salary range for this position is $78.35 $90.85 per hour.
