Analytics Platform Engineer
This is a contract position.
This is a hybrid opportunity located in New York NY.
About this Position
Join a dynamic team as an Analytics Platform Engineer supporting a realtime financial analytics platform. In this role you will help build and optimize backend systems used for investment performance and risk measurement powering insights for financial professionals worldwide.
Job Responsibilities
Design and implement backend enhancements for analytics systems
Build scalable features using Java with high performance in mind
Ensure efficient memory usage and realtime processing standards
Collaborate with teams throughout the full development lifecycle
Contribute to testing code review and system deployment activities
Job Skills/Requirements
4 years of Java development (Java 8) Spring framework experience
Strong understanding of multithreading design patterns and caching
Experience working with Sybase or DB2 databases
Ability to build scalable backend systems in a highperformance environment
Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
