Kartini Clinic an internationally recognized pediatric eating disorder treatment facility in Portland Oregon is passionate about providing children and families with the treatment support and education they need both medically and therapeutically. Since 1998 our multidisciplinary team has treated more than 3000 children and young adults with all forms of disordered eating within our family based treatment center. We believe parents do not cause eating disorders and children do not choose to have them.
To be considered for this Family Therapist position candidates should possess a Masters Degree in social work psychology mental health counseling or marriage and family therapy. A licensed provider with 2 years postmasters clinical experience is strongly preferred. This fulltime role involves facilitating family therapy sessions and groups monitoring treatment plan compliance timely charting participating in care coordination meetings ability to supervise and eat meals on our meal plan and conducting risk and safety assessments. A genuine passion for working with children and adolescents is essential. We seek energetic and creative team players who possess strong organizational and clinical skills. Experience with milieu and family work clinical work with children and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is highly valued.
