Manager II Systems Support & Programs FEP

Location: This role requires associates to be inoffice 3 days per week fostering collaboration and connectivity while providing flexibility to support productivity and worklife balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate Elevance Health PulsePoint locations may be considered.

The Manager II Systems Support & Programs position is a leadership role responsible for overseeing strategic initiatives and driving organizational success through advanced planning and execution.

How you will make an impact:

  • Accountability for assigned workstreams and alignment to multiple Product Managers that are single threaded to their workstream.
  • Responsible for the upskill mentoring and coaching of POs and BAs.
  • Drives governance & controls for delivery trains.
  • Attend project meetings with Product Owners and Business Analysts to guide development and management of requirements and test plan and execution.
  • Work with IT on structure of scrum team management between Enterprise IT Delivery and Train Leads.
  • Solicit feedback on associate performance from Product Managers to effectively performance manage.
  • Accountable and responsible for ensuring testing methodology and defect management governance and controls are consistently followed managed and continuously improved.
  • Hires trains coaches counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS in Business Administration Information Science Computer Science or Industrial Engineering and minimum of 7 years technical and/or systems experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and negotiation skills with advanced strategic planning and organizational skills strongly preferred.
  • Agile experience required for fostering adaptive and collaborative team environments preferred.
  • Proficiency in JIRA and ServiceNow (SNOW) preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of testing processes and requirements is necessary preferred.
  • Proven ability to build partnerships with IT and stakeholders ensuring alignment and engagement preferred.
  • FEP knowledge preferred.
