We are looking for an SEC Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team in Denver CO.
Where You Will Work
Our corporate office is located in the Denver Tech Center. Our office spans the top two floors of the building and features expansive views of the mountains and the downtown skyline.
AIR values relationships and the benefits from working side by side with teammates therefore this position will be inoffice 5 days a week to support operations.
What You Will Do
- Preparation and tie out of SEC filings including Forms 10K 10Q 8Ks and benefit plan filings as needed ensuring all of which are in compliance with US GAAP and SEC rules and consistent with AIRs business messaging.
- Assist in the planning coordination and execution of the annual and quarterly SEC reporting processes
- Research accounting guidance and prepare technical accounting memos for complex accounting issues and new accounting pronouncements.
- Provide audit support for quarterly reviews and annual financial statement and employee benefit plan audits. Act as a liaison between AIR and our external audit team.
- Perform and monitor SOX controls over financial reporting and technical accounting
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and may exercise freedom to develop new or previously unused solutions to create efficiencies and implement change.
- Act as a subject matter expert for specialized accounting areas/systems including training and troubleshooting in area of expertise.

Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in accounting; Masters in Accounting preferred
- Active CPA license or actively working towards obtaining license
- 24 years professional accounting experience; audit and/or SEC reporting experience preferred
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively in a fastpaced environment while exhibiting attention to detail
- Ability to continuously drive process improvements and provide solutions to problems
- IntermediateAdvanced Excel skills
